She brings a wealth of experience in student services, summer programming, and college and career readiness, having served as Student Services Manager, Summer Programs and Special Projects Manager, and Director of College and Career Office Operations. Kaara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
In her current role with GEAR UP Meriden/Middlesex, Kaara is committed to creating welcoming spaces, sharing meaningful resources, and helping students take bold steps toward their future.

Molly Diaz is proud to support students and families through GEAR UP Meriden/Middlesex as Site Coordinator. Currently, she is working closely with recent high school graduates during their first year of post-secondary education, whether they’re attending college, entering the workforce, or exploring other pathways, to ensure a smooth and successful transition after high school.
A first-generation college graduate herself, Molly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in School Counseling. Her background includes several years in college admissions, where she helped students navigate the application process, financial aid, and enrollment—experience she now brings to her work with GEAR UP students and families.
