molly.westfall@ctstate.edu

Molly Diaz is proud to support students and families through GEAR UP Meriden/Middlesex as Site Coordinator. Currently, she is working closely with recent high school graduates during their first year of post-secondary education, whether they’re attending college, entering the workforce, or exploring other pathways, to ensure a smooth and successful transition after high school.

A first-generation college graduate herself, Molly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in School Counseling. Her background includes several years in college admissions, where she helped students navigate the application process, financial aid, and enrollment—experience she now brings to her work with GEAR UP students and families.

Miss Westfall earned her Bachelor's Degree from CCSU in 2015, becoming the first in her family to navigate the college process and graduate. She is excited to provide GEAR UP services to students because early awareness and preparation are crucial to students pursuing post-secondary education, especially first-generation students. Miss Westfall has been a tap dancer for 28 years, when she is not at Platt she can be found teaching dance lessons!
